Scope:

Construction of roads, drainage and utilities infrastructure for Stage 1 Subdivision Kembla Grange Estate and construction of lead in Sewer including the upgrade of existing Paynes Road.

Summary:

Kembla Grange Estate is situated on Sheaffes Road at Kembla Grange. This is the first stage of the development completed by TRN Group. The work included civil and utility construction of the subdivision and construction of over 700m of sewer lead in from adjacent property as well as large pipe works to future service additional staging.  A significant challenge on this site was extreme strength rock encountered during construction.

Innovation:

TRN used core drilling and blasting techniques to remove known rock areas. This included blasting additional areas such as footpaths to allow for service installation. Excavated material was crushed onsite and replaced to allow for easy excavation for servicing contractors.
