Scope:

The construction of 144 residential lots including Bulk earthworks, pavement construction, stormwater drainage and utilities reticulation management, retaining walls, landscaping works and connections to existing Heath Road.

Summary:

21-49 Heath Road Leppington is a residential subdivision situated in the Leppington Release area between Camden Valley Way and Bringelly Road close to the Willowdale Estate. TRN Group were awarded the Bulk Earthworks contract and civil works contracts for the project.

The Bulk earthworks include the construction of Temporary Sediment basin and approximately 25,000cum of cut to fill and 90,000cum of Cut to Stockpile on the future stages 3 & 4 over a site area of 96,000sqm.

Civils works consists of over 15,000sqm of pavement material and laying 3000m of stormwater pipe and 350sqm of concrete Sleeper and Rock Boulder retaining walls

Innovation:

The use of recycled pavement materials to reduce the construction costs, working closely with Geotech’s and designers to reuse on-site as much material as possible to avoid additional cost of carting materials off-site, including using rock from site as subgrade replacement while over ripping rock with large dozers to minimise Rock Excavation for Stormwater and Sewer construction.
